It’s a bit after 10 in the morning and I’m sitting in my usual corner chair waiting for my medicine to arrive from the pharmacy so the infusion can begin. Everything has gone well this morning with my blood work all coming back within normal ranges which is good.
“Any pain Mr. Kenney?”, Joan asks.
“Have you fallen down in the past week?”, this is the new question I’m asked each time. Head injuries being a huge concern these days.
“Nope, no falling down.”
“Vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, headaches, trouble breathing?”
“No, I’m all good.”
I’ve become a very boring patient, and as we’ve all been saying, boring is good.
Next Friday I’ll have another CT Scan. I don’t really expect it be any different from the last few. 2 more treatments after this one and I’ll be done with the MEDI4736. I haven’t talked to Dr. Ion Cotarla to find out what the protocol will be after the treatment is completed but I imagine I’ll be coming back periodically for CT Scans. All in all it’s just another Monday here at Georgetown University Hospital and I’m so happy that this is all I have to share with you.
