With my treatments being every other Monday there hasn’t been as much to say lately but I know there are people who are wondering how I’m doing.
This past Saturday I got together with a dear friend who I’d not seen in 5 months. He was taken aback by how well I still look. He expected me to have lost a great deal of weight by now. I actually could stand to lose a little weight at this point as I’ve far too much enjoyed the doctors orders of put the weight back on after losing 30lbs during the chemo treatments. I put that 30 back on plus another 10 and if I’d grown a full beard could have easily played Santa this week. In other words I am so far from emaciated looking as to be in a different zip code.
What I still am dealing with is the itchies. I think it’s from the exoxaparin injections but it’s up for debate by my medical peeps. Other than that and getting worn out a bit faster than I’m used to I’m doing very well.
I’m still on schedule for infusion number 6 of the MEDI4736 on Monday and then I should be having another CT scan done the following week to see if it’s holding the cancer at bay.
