Happy Thanksgiving

This week I had both a liver biopsy and CT Scan performed. The first being on Monday and the latter this morning. I don’t have the results back from either yet but don’t really expect anything earth shattering at this stage. Hopefully the next set of test results which should be in January will let us all know how this new treatment is going.

I am thankful that on Monday I did not need to have my mediport replaced. Obviously talking smack about it and threatening it’s life got it to working again – we actually think it’s the lovenox blood thinner that I’m on that did the trick, but it’s fun to think otherwise.

I hope that you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Peace,
Mike

    Hi Mike,

Our best wishes for the scan and the biopsy. and hope it goes in the right direction; as it has for many other patients on this trial (I know this drug has worked very well for lung cancer patients, and a few melanoma pts as well).

We don’t know each other but I’ve been following your blog with great interest. My wife has ovarian cancer and we’re evaluating Medi-4736 for her as well.

Would love to exchange notes and share experiences.

    Happy thanksgiving and best wishes

    Andy
