MEDI4736

I had my first infusion of MEDI4736 today down at Georgetown Hospital. Dr. Pishvaian has been very hesitant to express any hope in a treatment plan but even he is excited by what he’s heard when it comes to the latest autoimmune therapies. There are cancer patients who have been on similar immune enhancers who while not cured have had their cancer growth abated for years now. In a couple of cases the patients haven’t been on any treatment for over a year now and there has still been no cancer growth or spread. Fingers crossed.

I’m sorry my theology editor let that one slip by. Thank goodness they caught my comment about the horse shoe over the door and my good luck penny.

I was afraid you were going to claim that it was a Christian gesture of some sort.

Yeah that’s it, I meant crossed fingers not fingers crossed – like the sign of the cross. Also good for warding off vampires in the absence of garlic.
